I strated by modeling some details like the chandelier, then I modev to modeling the stairs.


For the main arch that looks like a mandala, I first modeled in maya the basics, and for the deteriorated look I sent to Houdini and applied a voronoi destruction node.


After I had everything modeled I move to modeling the hippo, which I blocked out in Maya then move to Mudbox for organic modeling.
I downloaded a hand model which served as a base for modeling the hippo’s hand. The same method was applied for the feet.
And the hippo fully modeled looked like this:

I then modeled the rest of the details and my final model looked like this:


I didn’t model the plants and rocks, they were downloaded from quixel megascans.
