For Beauty retouch, I downloaded a footage from Pexels and removed the age marks around the mouth, chin, and eyes from the woman’s face. I opted on leaving some marks around her eyes, to keep some texture in her skin so it wouldn’t look so fake and blur.
This was the result:

For this removal I used smart vector to track the roto areas.

Removing motion capture markers is a fundamental skill for a compositor, so first I practiced using the footage provided in class:

This was like a practice exercise. After that I recorded myself with markers and did another footage.
For this skill there are two ways of tracking the roto area and for this footage I practiced both ways.
The first way, as seen in my nodegraph, is by cleaning up the markers using the rotopaint node, then frameholding, applying a tracker and exporting a transform matchmove and then merging with the other comp. The disadvantage of doing like this is that you need to track each one of the dots. Also, I faced some dificulties because the lighting changes during the footage, so I applied a grade node and animated it.

The other way of removing the markes is by using the smart vectors to track it. It’s faster than the one I mentioned before, but depending of the footage it may deform the face.
