I separated the modeling of the robot in 3 different parts: first the body, then the head and finally the wheel.
I had just planned the major look for the robot, and while modeling, I went deciding the details it would have, and where to put it.
I started modelling the walkman the robot would have in his body, and this was the first model I did.

I knew later on I would need to adjust the edge loops, since it’s creating edges where it shouldn’t.
Then I moved on to creating it’s body.

Some changes would also have to be done since the place where the walkman is placed wasn’t round enough.

For the head, I aimed for a inocent and scared look. It was supposed to look like a readio, so I did the handle on top and the eyes are like the part that expells sound. The middle of the nose is where the play and pause button will be, and the mouth like a digital screen.

For the wheel, I decided to keep it simple, because it was not going to show a lot of it, and we had already decided the robot wouldn’t move.
